I believe the beauty of the piece lies within the timber and therefore sometimes the project is subject to change due to structure grain features and natural beauty the timber hides within. I have started many projects and with a few cuts of the chisel I will change my mind due to the beauty of the timber, which I want to maximise appearance and minimise waste of one of mother natures most precious gifts. I would like to teach at some stage of my turning career as I believe passing on our heritage is very important.
