I have been working in furniture for over thirty five years, with a family tradition in furniture in Ireland since the late 1800’s, and probably prior to that in Italy. Since training as a traditional cabinetmaker in Kilkenny in the 1970s I have acquired much additional skill and experience over the years which includes an M.A. in Art Therapy and a B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology and Literature. My work continues to include making handmade bespoke furniture, and recycled/upcycled and sculptural pieces, for individual clients, and also the conservation and restoration of furniture and wooden artifacts, in Ireland and Israel. Carri Creativity includes these services, as well as offering creative therapy in special education, and within the adult mental health sector. WORKSHOPS - both traditional and therapeutic workshops are offered, with information available on request.
