In her native Brazil, in London and San Francisco, Brazilian-Irish artist designer maker and arts facilitator, Patricia Gurgel-Segrillo has trained and worked in a diverse range of disciplines, through oil painting, silk-screen printing, film animation, hat design, gemology, ergonomics, interior accessories and jewellery design and manufacture.
Patricia has developed the weaving techniques in silver and gold that she uses to create unique jewellery pieces throughout nearly three decades of jewellery-making.
Patricia Gurgel-Segrillo's contemporary jewellery series have been exhibited in galleries in the UK, Ireland, Japan, Brazil and the USA and are sold worldwide; actor Orlando Bloom is one of many collectors of her wearable art. Her work is available form selected stockists as well as from her Online Shop.
In 2004 Patricia completed an MA Degree in Design Studies from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, in London.

Patricia Gurgel-Segrillo is a member of CRAFTed: Crafts Council of Ireland's Education Panel which aims for the development and delivery of training programmes relating to the Visual Arts curriculum at primary level.
Project Manager at Art in the Park - Cork, The Lord Mayor's Pavilion, Fitzgerald Park, Cork City. In this beautiful Arts and Crafts style building Patricia creates art inspired by the park, as well as invite other artists for collaborations/exhibitions. Patricia also offers year-round workshops at Art in the Park - Cork.
