I design and make stylish and comfortable children's clothes with a modern twist. Motivated by a desire to create simple garments that allow freedom of movement and swing with a child’s energy, my designs are inspired by childhood nostalgia; by vintage clothes, children’s illustrations and nature, but most of all by the sheer magic of childhood. Using simple cuts, my children's clothes celebrate colour, print, pattern and all things beautiful. Maria Ryan is the designer maker behind Lollipops & Daydreams. She lives in the tranquil countryside of Tullow, Co. Carlow. Her fabric designs are printed on organic cotton, complimented with other cottons and trims, which are, where possible, sourced locally.
