Profile
I have an immense love of the old crafts and believe they have a very important and valid place in today's society. They are skills that take time and effort to achieve and last a lifetime, never dating or becoming obsolete. They are the very epitome of sustainability, using no power and only natural materials which do not harm the environment. In fact they quite often work hand in hand with nature herself offering quiet wild places for wildlife to strive. I hope to have many years working with basketry and many other crafts, and hope to be able to bring these skills into schools, fairs and general society, so that the old may be allowed to remember and the young be inspired. I would be delighted to make this a full time occupation so will endeavour to keep learning and improving and to keep passing the knowledge onto anyone with an interest.
