Following the statement by An Taoiseach earlier today on measures to tackle COVID-19, including the temporary closure of all cultural institutions, the National Design & Craft Gallery, which is situated in Castle Yard, Kilkenny, will be closed from this evening, Thursday 12 March with an anticipated reopening date of Tuesday 31 March.

For the moment, the offices of Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI), also situated in Castle Yard, Kilkenny, are operating normally although the situation is under constant review.
