An Garda Síochána invites tenders for supply of Memorabilia.
The tender documentation can be found at etenders.gov.ie under the heading “Request for Tenders to establish a Multi Supplier Framework for the Supply and Delivery of Memorabilia for An Garda Síochána”. In Summary, the goods comprise:
Various types of high quality Memorabilia suitable for presentation to all Garda Síochána Personnel, dignitaries and recipients.
This public procurement framework competition will be divided into 6 lots (each a “Lot”) as described below with a maximum number of 15 framework members. Lots 1 to 5 may be awarded to a maximum total of two suppliers per Lot and there will be a maximum number of 5 suppliers chosen in Lot 6. Each Lot will result in a separate contract.
Tenderers are requested to note that inclusion on the panel is not a guarantee of future business. Once the panels for the different Lots are formed, An Garda Síochána will manage the orders on a cascade basis, this may take the form of alternating requests or in relation to Lot 6 orders may be placed in relation to a specific request by Senior Management. The final operation will be defined at contract stage.
Lot 1: Coins, Pins, Pens, Keyrings etc (individual items should not exceed a cost of €10)
Lot 2: Silverware
Lot 3: Pewter
Lot 4: Crystal
Lot 5: Presentation Journal (refillable) and Pen set
Lot 6: Other memorabilia items
Lot 6 is designed to encourage SME participation and recognise the growing high quality Irish craft market, submissions are welcome from various craft suppliers. Items should be Irish produced and suitable for presentation to both male and female dignitaries. Items may be required to be engraved/embossed with the Garda Crest and personalised. Items should be supplied in a suitable presentation box and/or sleeve, consideration should be given to the fact that many items will have to travel by airline and packaging should be adaptable for this purpose.
