Art in the Park Tralee

Posted 01.03.19

In 2018 artworks were displayed on the external railings of the beautiful Tralee Town Park. This event organized by Tralee Chamber Alliance provides an opportunity for artists to display their artworks and give visitors to Tralee a chance to view and purchase artworks straight from the artist and learn about their work. Artists are only licensed to exhibit original artworks; no commission is included in the price. Artists exhibiting are professionals with a variety of genres on display from traditional to more contemporary and individual styles.

In 2019 art group’s can join and display using several spaces, depending on the size of the group. If you are a group and wish to display this way, please contact me and we can discuss the specifics. Each space measures 9ft by 4.5ft and we charge an annual fee of €20, this will cover any time in the year that we exhibit. All money collected goes straight back into ‘Art in the Park’ via promotion or other expenses that may arise that create opportunities for the artist.

Individual Artist’s will display as they did last year and pay €20 euro and receive a space to a space and a half. Art in the Park runs on specific months in summer and other seasonal events, which will be announced on our social media spaces and you will be notified by email. We are planning our first event of 2019 to take place in May as part of Tralee Food Festival. After doing evaluation with current members we decided to change the time to 11am – 5pm, you can turn up earlier or stay later it’s up to you. But this is the time we will be promoting.

These are the main events for 2019, but other events could occur and we can take part in those events as well. We mainly exhibit on a Saturday but for festivals we can add additional days if you like?
