Designs for a Creative Life: Selling, Influencing and Sustaining

René Mullin will join the Amma Centre in Armagh as part of Create: Innovate: Armagh on Saturday 23rd June to share her advice and experience on building a creative career.

Management skills within a creative life are the key to its viability, coupled with an economic awareness and a gigantic tank of creative energy. This talk will introduce you to the skills Réne has used to produce her work, find her customers (both retail and wholesale), develop relationships, keep focused and make a creative life work. She will acquaint you with her influences and sources of inspiration and the thinking process that drives her practice. Join us for this worthwhile event that will leave you feeling energised about your potential. 

The talk will finish with a networking lunch.

René Mullin
René Mullin is a Printmaker/Artist, Arts Manager, Author, Craft Curator, Designer & Workshop Facilitator. She has worked in the creative industries since 1998. For most of that 20 year period, René has been self employed and sustaining a successful creative career, establishing brands such as Placed and Kiln and Loom.

Mentoring Opportunity!
René will work one-to-one during mentoring sessions with 5 selected businesses after the talk. Sessions will be allocated between 1:00pm - 5:30pm.
